HyperionSim Limited Warranty Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 Region: North America (United States & Canada)
1. Warranty Period
HyperionSim warrants to the original purchaser that the HyperionSim hardware product (the "Product") shall be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of original delivery (the "Warranty Period").
2. Scope of Warranty Coverage
During the Warranty Period, if a defect arises and a valid claim is received, HyperionSim will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.

Replace the defective component with a new or performance-equivalent part.
Covered Items:

Motion Platform Chassis and Metal Structures.

Actuators, Motors, and Servo Drivers.
-
Control Boxes and Electronic Circuit Boards.

Note: For Turnkey systems, 3rd-party components (e.g., PC, VR Headset, Monitors) are covered under this policy unless the original manufacturer's warranty is invoked directly.
3. Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)
This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

A. Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes.

B. Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by HyperionSim (e.g., exceeding weight limits).

C. Damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, or "modding" without written permission from HyperionSim Support.

D. Normal wear and tear or aging of the Product (e.g., cosmetic scratches, surface finish).

E. Software issues, including but not limited to OS updates, game compatibility, or driver conflicts not caused by HyperionSim hardware.
4. Shipping & Logistics (Important)
Per HyperionSim policy, the Customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty service.

Return Shipping: The customer must prepay all shipping charges to return the defective part/unit to the HyperionSim service center.

Replacement Shipping: The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of the repaired or replacement part sent from HyperionSim to the customer.

HyperionSim is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
5. Remote Technical Support
HyperionSim provides Two (2) Years of Complimentary Remote Technical Support starting from the delivery date.

Services Include: Remote desktop debugging, driver installation assistance, game telemetry configuration (SimTools/SimHub), and hardware diagnostics.

Availability: Support is provided via Email and Ticket System. Response time is typically within 24-48 business hours.
6. Warranty Claim Process (RMA)
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact HyperionSim Support to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution.

Diagnosis: A support technician will attempt to diagnose the issue remotely.

RMA Issuance: If a hardware defect is confirmed, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued. Do not ship any product without an RMA number.

Shipment: Pack the defective component securely and ship it to the address provided with the RMA.
7. Limitation of Liability
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HYPERIONSIM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); OR LOSS OF BUSINESS.
